In celebration of Manufacturing Month, Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC) welcomed high school students to its Shreveport, Minden, and Mansfield campuses for a series of interactive tours and demonstrations.

Students explored training opportunities in Plumbing, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, and more. During their visits, students had the opportunity to meet instructors, experience lab demonstrations, and hear from current NLTCC students about their college experience.

Along with the campus tours, NLTCC staff participated in numerous career fairs and outreach events across the region, connecting directly with high school students, educators, and workforce partners to share educational opportunities and career pathways.

Manufacturing Month highlights the essential role of U.S. manufacturing and encourages the next generation of skilled professionals to explore rewarding career paths. NLTCC supports this mission by providing training that equips students with the technical knowledge and real-world experience needed to succeed in today’s global workforce.

With campuses in Mansfield, Minden, and Shreveport, NLTCC offers hands-on training in high demand fields such as Allied Health, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Transportation, and Workforce. Most programs at NLTCC can be completed in as little as eighteen months to two years, making it an excellent choice for anyone ready to start a rewarding career.

Registration is currently open for the Spring semester, with classes beginning January 12th, 2026. To learn more, visit nltcc.edu or call 318.371.3035 to connect with a member of the Student Services team.
