Get a Head Start with Dual Enrollment at NLTCC!

Dual enrollment lets high school students earn both high school credit and college credit at the same time. It’s a great way to jump-start your college journey while still in high school!

At NLTCC, we offer Career and Technical Education (CTE) dual enrollment opportunities for students who are at least 15 years old and attend high schools in our nine-parish service area. Classes may be held right on your high school campus or at one of our three NLTCC locations.

Become a Dual Enrollment Adjunct

Courses are taught by credentialed instructors from partnering high schools, or by instructors who currently teach at Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College. Below you will find our eligibility requirements along with essential documentation needed for credentialing.  

Academic (General Education):

  • Master's degree in the discipline

OR

  • 18+ credit hours in the discipline

 

Technical Education:

  • Associate degree in the discipline

OR

  • Technical diploma

OR

  • Demonstrable competencies

AND

  • A minimum of two years of relevant full-time experience. 

 

Required documentation:

  • Current resume
  • Official college transcript
  • Copy of teaching certificate (general education) or training certificates (technical education)
