NLTCC Scholarships:
CNA Scholarship Application - All Campuses
Students applying for the CNA scholarship must complete the scholarship application and indicate which campus they plan to attend. Applicants must verify that they have a high school diploma. If an applicant does not have a high school diploma, they must register with WRU to work toward an equivalency diploma and provide a letter from WRU confirming enrollment.
Completed applications should be returned to Student Services at the campus the student plans to attend.

Louisiana Construction Education Foundation (LCEF) Endowed Scholarship at NLTCC
On behalf of the Louisiana Construction Education Foundation (LCEF), Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College is collecting applications for the Jump Start Construction Connect Scholars Program. This program is the state’s first and only scholarship dedicated exclusively to Jump Start graduates who have earned a Jump Start credential and a Louisiana high school diploma and subsequently enroll in an NLTCC Construction Pathway Program the summer or fall immediately following graduation. This scholarship will assist graduates in gaining the necessary training to earn industry employment in construction crafts fields aligned to four- and five-star jobs that may lead to management positions.
Eligibility Requirements
- Any high school senior who meets the following criteria:
- Two letters of recommendation (must be emailed to [email protected])
- Enrollment in CTE program with NCCER credential
- Jump Start diploma
- Participation in a career and technical student organization, example: SkillsUSA
Selection Criteria
Recipients of this scholarship will be selected by the NLTCC Scholarship Committee based on the strength of the industry credential(s) they earned in high school, letters of recommendation, participation in career and technical student organizations, and academic achievements such as GPA, career and technical course work, and skills competition recognition.
* All applicants applying will receive email notification of the committee’s decision. Only completed applications will be considered.
Scholarship Award Awards will be applied to the Fall 2026 semester. There are two awards available in the amount of $1000 each.

External Scholarships
NLTCC offers scholarships for each campus's SGA President and Treasurer/Secretary for each semester an individual services in the amount of $500 for the President and $250 for the Treasurer/Secretary. This waiver will be applied toward tuition and will not result in a refund.

The Career & Technical Scholarship Program is funded through the Horatio Alger Endowment Fund and the generosity of Association Chairman Emeritus and Endowment Fund President Walter Scott, Jr. Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States.
Third party scholarships are privately funded resources available to qualified students to use to pay for educational opportunities. NLTCC accepts third party scholarship awarded to NLTCC students if provided appropriate information along with payment. Such information includes, but is not limited to:
