TO RECEIVE THE SCHOLARSHIP, COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS BY AUGUST 10, 2021:

  1. Register for Fall 2021 classes.  Classes begin August 16, 2021.

  2. Complete the Inspired, Equipped, Ready Fall 2021 Application.

  3. Complete a FAFSA. 

  • Each and every student who registers, completes the application and a FAFSA by August 10, 2021, will receive either a $750 (PELL Eligible Students) or $500 (Non-PELL Eligible Students) scholarship.  
  • You must select one of two options when completing the Inspired, Equipped, Ready Fall 2021 Application:
    • Option 1:  I wish to authorize the use of my scholarship funds to pay any and all charges for Fall 2021.  Any excess funds will be refunded to me.
    • Option 2:  Decline having the scholarship applied toward FALL 2021 charges; and, receive the full scholarship amount directly.
  • Scholarships will be applied and/or disbursed to students after all avenues of qualified financial aid awards (Pell, TOPS, GO Grant, etc.) have been applied to your account.
  • Awards will be applied and/or refunded as indicated by the steps below:
    • The college’s official census date  of September 2, 2021 is the last day for students to be deemed as a “No Show” and receive a full refund or not owe a balance to the college for the Fall 2021 semester.
    • Qualified financial aids awards will be applied to accounts in late September/early October.
    • Equipped, Inspired, Ready Fall 2021 Scholarship amounts depending on your selection,  will be distributed to you in full; or, applied to the balance of your Fall 2021 account with any excess funds refunded to you.
