Mansfield Location

Students Aged 16-17:

If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must get an Exit Waiver from your local school board before enrolling.

Want to Enroll?

Step 1: Complete an intake form online

Step 2: Attend orientation and testing on campus as soon as possible. 

  • Mansfield campus: Wednesdays from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
  • Additional paperwork will be completed at this time.
  • Bring a picture ID.

Step 3: Participate in the development of a personalized learning plan.

  • Based on your assessment, current skill levels, and goals.
  • Structured for you and what’s going on in your life: work, kids, and other commitments.

Step 4: Attend class in person as much as possible and/or complete lessons at home.

  • Class held Monday – Thursday 8:30-11:30
  • Instructors will assign online learning opportunities if appropriate.

  • High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation and HiSET, GED, Accuplacer testing
  • Preparation for other approved pathways to earn your HSE in Louisiana
  • Adult literacy programs to improve reading, writing, math, and technology skills
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction
  • Workforce preparation and job skills training
