NLTCC Foundation Receives $10,000 Grant Through Amazon Northwest Louisiana Community Fund
The Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC) Foundation has received a $10,000 grant through the Amazon Northwest Louisiana Community Fund.
The grant was part of nearly $500,000 awarded by Amazon to 46 organizations, schools, and community members across Northwest Louisiana. Grants of up to $10,000 were awarded to support a variety of local projects and community needs.
The NLTCC Foundation will use the funding to increase workforce opportunities for rural communities across Northwest Louisiana. The grant will help support programs and initiatives that connect individuals with education, training, and skills needed for employment in high-demand fields.
“Amazon’s investment in our Foundation is critical at a time when we are expanding access, across the region, to community and technical college education,” said Antonio Hearn, Vice Chancellor of Strategic Enrollment Management and Workforce.
NLTCC thanks Amazon for its investment in organizations across Northwest Louisiana and for the opportunity to use this grant to support workforce development in rural communities.
