Faculty and staff from Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College gathered August 5th and 6th for two days of professional development and training ahead of the start of the fall semester.
The annual convocation brought employees from across NLTCC’s campuses together for college updates, breakout sessions, departmental training, and opportunities to prepare for the academic year ahead. Each session was designed to strengthen collaboration, support continued professional growth, and help faculty and staff better serve NLTCC students.
“Convocation gives our faculty and staff an important opportunity to come together, learn from one another, and begin the academic year with a renewed focus on our students,” said NLTCC Chancellor Dr. Jayda Spillers. “We are also incredibly grateful to our community partners whose support helped make these two days possible.”
That support included breakfast and lunch provided by Sweet Tea Diner in Minden and generously sponsored by Optimum, the Greater Minden Chamber, the City of Minden Economic Development, and the Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Commission.
