Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC) is proud to celebrate four members of the NLTCC community who were recognized during the 2026 Louisiana Community and Technical Colleges (LCTC) Outstanding Faculty and Staff Awards.
Dr. Alyson McCoy, Vice Chancellor of Academics and Institutional Effectiveness, received the Outstanding Professional Staff Member Award; Calie Dison, Librarian, received the Outstanding Professional Support Staff Member Award; Chris Thomas, Automotive Instructor, received the Outstanding Faculty Member Award; and Renee Sears, former Vice Chancellor of Academics, Student Affairs, and Workforce, received the Distinguished Retiree Award.
The annual awards recognize outstanding faculty and staff from Louisiana’s community and technical colleges for their dedication to students, their institutions, and higher education across the state.
“These awards reflect the level of excellence and dedication our faculty and staff bring to NLTCC,” said Chancellor Dr. Jayda Spillers. “Their contributions strengthen our college and the education we provide to our students, and we are proud to see their work recognized at the state level.”
NLTCC congratulates Dr. McCoy, Mrs. Dison, Mr. Thomas, and Mrs. Sears on this well-deserved recognition and thanks them for their contributions to the college and its students.
