Certified Medical Assistant

The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) program at Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College prepares students for entry-level healthcare careers in clinics, physician offices, and hospitals. Training includes medical terminology, patient care, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, infection control, pharmacology, and medical office procedures. Students gain hands-on clinical skills and are prepared to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) CCMA certification exam.
