Emergency Medical Technician

The EMT program at Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College prepares students for careers in emergency medical services by providing training in basic life support, patient assessment, trauma care, emergency response, and pre-hospital medical care. Students gain hands-on clinical experience and are prepared for EMT certification and employment in emergency healthcare settings.
