Power Line Worker Program
The Power Line Worker program is a 32-week non-credit hands-on training program that offers NCCER Power Line Worker certifications and CDL licensure. Students will engage in safety training, pole-climbing, pole-setting, cable/line stringing, basic electrical training and operating commercial vehicles.
Certifications include:
- NCCER Core
- CDL Class A
- CPR First Aid
- NCCER Introduction to the Power Industry
- NCCER Power Line Worker Level I
- NCCER Power Line Worker Distribution
- Level II/III Customized Curricula
- OSHA 10
Cost:
Phase 1 - $5,500
Phase 2 - $3,700
Phase 3 - $1,800
Pre-requisites:
•18 years of age
•Current driver's license
•CDL Class A Permit
•DOT Physical
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Not afraid of working at a high elevation.
•Must pass DOT Drug Screen when sent by school (student must cover cost)
